Merry Christmas!
Hi everyone. I've been such a slacker when it comes to posting that I don't know if anyone even reads this anymore. Just in case there are a few of you out there, I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas. Stop by The Pauly's Pics & Prose for more holiday pictures. (Yes, those are antler's on Brian's head.)
Bring on the birthdays!
December is a busy month for birthdays in our class.
Here are a few that I know of off the top of my head. Leave a comment if I missed any.
Karissa - Rhonda and Tim's daughter born on December 13th, 2006
for some reason I have December 12th in my head as Ryan's birthday - I could be way off though
Benjamin - Dan J. and Christy's son born on December 15th, 2006
Aaron - Heather and David's son, born on December 20th, 2005
Our own Danny J - our "oldie but goodie" classmate born back in the 70's, celebrates his birthday on December 27th. What birthday is it this year Dan?
And since there are a bunch of January birthdays that'll be here before we know it:
Owen: Jan 9th
Isn't Jay's the 10th?
Chrissy Henderson: Jan 11th
Mollie: Jan 17th
Carrie: Jan 25th

Happy Birthday Heather!
Hey everyone - yes I am still here and what a better occasion to get back to blogging than Heather's birthday? These are the most recent pictures I have. Her son Aaron will be 2 on December 20th so obviously these are a bit dated.
Have a wonderful birthday my friend!!!!!
love,
carrie

So sorry
It kills me to have to do this my friends, but I'm going to have to back out of the camping trip. Brian was not able to keep his current job until we heard from Voyageurs National Park so we had to make the tough decision to sell our home regardless of where Brian finds work. Not only can we not spend the money to travel to Wisconsin, but we have to spend every waking moment preparing the house to sell. The first night of camping is already paid for so anyone who'd like to still go is more than welcome to. Contact me to get the reservation info so I know whether or not to cancel the entire thing. Believe me, if there was anyway we could make it work, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Don't give up on me entirely - I do plan to keep posting things to our blog.
Enjoy the rest of your summer everyone!

Happy 30th Birthday Becky!
We always had so much fun at Becky's house. Whether it was sitting in the hot-tub, playing pool, watching movies, playing games, or having one of many heart-to-hearts; we have tons of memories from the countless hours spent at the Spellman's.
Hope your trip to Italy is all you dreamed of!
Love,
Carrie

First of all - Thank you to everyone who's RSVP'd for the camping trip. I appreciate the quick response from so many of you. Perhaps it was the weekend I picked, or the idea of camping, or maybe it's the distance required to get to Mirror Lake....
As of now there's going to be plenty of room for my kids to roam at the group site we have to ourselves. If anyone else is even considering coming would you please drop me an email or leave a comment here? I don't want to pull the plug quite yet, but I also don't want to put any more effort into planning food and gear if this turns out not to be the year to revive our class camping trip.
I'll leave you with a few photos from last years reunion at Naomi's place in Fond du Lac to inspire those of you who are having trouble deciding whether or not to come.

Come one! Come all!
I sent out an evite this morning so people could RSVP for the camping trip and keep tabs on who's coming.
If you didn't get the email, get in touch with me at tinytoes_child_care@yahoo.com
thanks,
carrie
p.s. After a rough trial run of camping with a two year old, we had a successful weekend of sleeping in a tent with BOTH kids. It can be done!

Friday Flashback
This was one of our class camping trip during our college years. I remember it being the hottest day of the summer and not having enough water along. What do the rest of you remember from that seven hour float down the river?
* In case you are wondering who's heads those are bobbing in the water in one of the pictures - it's Billy F. and Dan R.
Our camping trip to Mirror Lake State Park is only a month away! I'm going to get a little practice camping with two children next weekend at a family reunion. Check out my blog to see how my trial run went last night. Don't let it scare you away from attending though. :) Coming for the day on Saturday or Sunday is always an option. I'll be hammering out some details about cost and food here in the next couple of weeks so check back for more info. Of course, you can always email me: tinytoes_child_care@yahoo.com if you have ideas to make the weekend more memorable for all. T-shirts, games, contests, food, boats etc......

This weeks flashback is in a different spot than most weeks. I was working on a post for my personal blog when I realized that the info was perfect for our class blog as well. You'll understand what I mean when you hop on over to Carrie's Corner.

Happy First Day of Summer!
Sorry this is the best I could do for a picture for this post. At least it is Lake Ripley my son, Sam and I are sitting in, so it sort of pertains to our class. In fact this picture was taken the weekend of our ten year reunion (before my daughter was born and I could still get away with a bikini if I held Sam in front of me for any pictures).
Have a safe and fun summer everyone! Hope to see you in August!

Look who's talking
If someone from Greece can leave a comment (see comments from this week's Wordless Wednesday) then so can YOU!!!!
I'm going to be MIA until next week sometime as my family is flying to Denver for vacation at the crack of dawn. I'm leaving it up to the rest of you to reminisce about mall hair, tight-rolling our jeans, and all the other stupid things we did way back when. Have fun!

Tuesday Trivia
I just got off the phone with Becky. (It was so good to talk to you Beck!) Little Anna here, turned 2 back in March and her baby brother, Luke just celebrated his first birthday. So.....for Tuesday's trivia question I thought I'd see if we can work on a list of our classmate's birthdays. Most of us turn the big 3-0 this year. Wouldn't it be fun to help everyone celebrate when their day roles around?
(Hi Tasha!)
I also got an email from Heather with an adorable picture of her son, Aaron.
(All these photos are from our 10 year reunion. Heather was pregnant with Aaron then)
Believe it or not, I also got a call from Rhonda today too! (Boy do I feel special.) Here she is with Jenna who will turn 2 in July. Jenna has a little sister, Karissa.
Sam, the grumpy one I'm holding :), is my oldest. He will be 3 in October. He has a little sister, Julia.
Hmmm....I'm starting to think I should do a post with pics of kids......
Why don't those who are interested, send me an email with pictures of their children (include names and ages) and I'll compile them all together in one big show-and-tell. If possible try to make the files a manageable size. My computer doesn't like working with monster sized files.

Tuesday Trivia
What was the population of Cambridge when we graduated?
(What the sign said when you came into town - we all knew it was a lot more when you counted the people who lived on the lake.)
